Did you know that Network Marketing is being taught in a major, accredited University? I bet that most people, who are skeptical regarding this business area don’t know that.

In fact, in the University of Illinois, Chicago, Professor Charles King is teaching Network Marketing in a classroom. He’s been doing this for many years actually. A quick search on his name will reveal more about the reasons why he desired to teach Network Marketing. Researching on his name will also easily reveal that there is a DVD called Brilliant Compensation by Tim Sales containing an interview with him. In this exclusive interview being conducted by Mr. Sales, professor King talks in detail about his decision to teach MLM in the classroom.  This interview contains what I would call a tremendous weaponry in the arsenal of education each and every professional in this arena should possess!

I would like to highlight one thing that he says during the interview. According to him, one of the key to success in Network Marketing is to have a product that offers uniqueness. If you don’t have uniqueness, he emphasizes, then you will be left to compete on price and convenience.
This is one of reasons why the older network marketing companies selling articles like soap, detergent, tooth paste, etc…do not really compete well in the current economy. They have just so to say a lack on uniqueness: one can buy a box of detergent just about anywhere, all right? So unless that box of detergent can do any magical things like counting your money for you or let’s say cleaning your house by itself or any other ‘unorthodox’ thing, well, then it just isn’t unique.
Again, uniqueness is a powerful key. If you don’t have uniqueness, you will have to compete in many fields.
However, there’s a lot more to it then a superficially assumed, really. There’s many things tight to that realization that makes so much sense! There’s a lot of important thoughts to have before joining any ‘new opportunity’. In fact, great systems, great teams alone aren’t a guarantee for anything, really.

Let me be blunt with you: unless you not have a very solid plan on how generate lots of business leads, your dreams for success is merely wishful thinking and not based on a solid success blueprint.

In addition, it is not entirely possible for you to sit relaxingly in your pajamas and enjoy the comfort of being with your family while making a significant income with a new business without any kind of serious, hard work. There are no short cuts for whatever in life is valuable to obtain. However, that is a kind of philosophical approach I really do not want to delve in here right now.

Let’s talk about the facts: according to the statistics, somewhere from 93% to 95% of people fail in their first 3 years as an entrepreneur in this arena. That is the reality.

On the other hand, a home based business is easy if you just have fun and take a more systematic, well-planed approach. This is also an increasingly popular option in today’s society for people looking to be home with their kids and having a kind of insurance against the depressing developments in our economy. Some people might thing that a home based business is not a real business though…

Despite all the observations above, an average of 170 to 180 thousand people are looking for a way to make some extra cold hard cash. On a weekly basis! Further, market analysts suggested this whole is to continue to grow and there are no limits in sight yet.
Among all these partially very contradicting figures, opinions and statistics I for myself have long ago made up my mind. I had to found my personal truth regarding this matter, before I got involved in this industry seven years ago. that truth goes like this: YES, home based business are a genuine, legitimate way of making one’s living; actually one of the really very, very few ways of life that can allow one’s complete freedom of all kinds of modern slavery. That is a bold affirmation you may think.
As matter of fact ever since I have been evolved in this industry I have seen so many people achieving levels of freedom never dreamed of. People earning a considerable income, which are maybe even ‘obscene’ to be mentioned in days like these we are living in. The common denominator among them is very easy to be found: those are people who have been willing to work hard and – very crucial – with consistency.

It comes down to a certain kind of personality. But as well as people’s personalities are not same, so are the innumerable opportunities on the marketplace nowadays not the same either. Having the virtues above mentioned is not enough though.

There is a crucial peace to the equation which, when missing, will deteriorate any kind of entrepreneurial action whatsoever.
If missing, then it will not matter if someone is planning to be starting an eBay store, affiliate programs, mlm, or even creating his own product and retailing it online…it just won’t matter. Because they will definitively fail, whether on the short or on the long run.

The secret is only one. You would laugh out aloud if you see it.

I wanted to send you out a brief message this morning, which is actually a personal question to you:

Where do your success strategies come from? Most of us have been using strategies all of our lives
and we’ve not been aware that we’ve been picking up information from our peers, from our family, from our teachers, from our community and we’ve been acting  strategies of failure or strategies that don’t produce the result that we want. That is why something is missing, we have not achieved everything that we want, we keep doing the same things over and over and over again and we wonder why things aren’t changing.

Most of us are unconscious to the fact that we have patterns in our lives that we do repeatedly and we don’t even realize that we are doing it and why we are doing it.
All it takes is learning and figuring out and declaring the result, the outcome the experience that you’re looking to create for yourself and then finding a model, finding a person, finding someone else that have achieved that result and then learning the strategy that they’ve used to produce that result. Then you can duplicate that strategy.

You can duplicate that process, you can take the specifics steps that that person took dayin and day out – moment by moment – by doing the things that they did and hopefully producing a result that is very similar to that you thought that you would then achieve.

The problem is that most of us learn the strategies that someone else has passed and we think that this is eventually the most successful strategy out there, we do not really take the time to look and ask ourselves the question: Is it that I’m doing giving me the results that I want? If it IS just keep doing what you are doing and you can stop reading this now. But if it is not, well you’ve got to find a new strategy, you’ve got to try something new! Find it from a person who is getting the results that you want. From the company that is getting the results that you want or from the group who is getting the results that you want and learn their strategies, master their strategies to the point from where you can share those strategies with somebody else.

Then you will too receive the results that you want!
